One of the safest and most commonly performed surgical procedures, Blepharoplasty can be conducted to deal with sagging upper eyelids, bags under the eyes and wrinkles, and can make tired and sad looking eyes refreshed.

What does this surgery entail?
Surgeons at Court House Clinics perform this treatment by making an incision in the upper eyelids, withdrawing the excess fat, and trimming loose skin and muscle. As for the lower eyelids, our clinic's surgeon will make a small incision, whereupon the skin is then lifted outwards and upwards, which will softly tauten the area. Any superfluous skin is removed. All incisions are closed using very fine sutures.

Are there any risks involved?
Most people do not experience any problems following this surgery. A few risks to be aware of may consist of:

* Glaucoma
* Haematoma
* Damage to the eye surface or surrounding muscles

Chemical peels
