Blepharoplasty
One of the safest and more preferred cosmetic treatments, Blepharoplasty (Eyelid and Eyebag Surgery) can be performed to help with bags under the eyelids, wrinkles and sagging upper eyelids, and can revitalise sad and tired looking eyes.

What does this procedure entail?
Court House Clinics exact this treatment in the upper eyelids by making an incision, taking out the excess fat, and tidying up any sagging skin and muscle. As for the lower eyelids, our expert at Court House Clinics will make a fine incision, whereupon the skin is then lifted outwards and upwards, gently tensioning the area. Overlapping skin is then removed. All incisions are closed using very fine sutures.

What are the risks?
Most patients do not suffer any complications post-surgery. Some complications, however, may include:

* The eyelid may not close properly, so a further operation is required
* Glaucoma
* Too much removed fat may result in a sunken appearence
* An asymmetrical result
* Infection
* Damage to the surrounding muscles and eye surface
