Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) London

Eyelid and Eyebag Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
One of the more preferred and safest cosmetic surgical procedures, Eyelid and Eyebag Surgery (Blepharoplasty) can be conducted to deal with sagging upper eyelids, bags under the eyes and wrinkles, and can rejuvenate tired and sad looking eyes.

What does this surgery entail?
Our clinic's surgeons perform this treatment by making an incision in the upper eyelids, withdrawing the excess fat, and tidying up any loose muscle and skin. As for the lower eyelids, our surgeon at Court House Clinics will make an incision, and the skin is then lifted upwards and outwards, delicately tautening the area. Any excess skin is removed. Small sutures are then used to secure any incisions.

What are the risks?
Most patients do not suffer any complications after this procedure. Some complications, however, may include:

* Reaction to the anaesthetic
* A further operation is needed due to the eyelid not closing properly
* Glaucoma
* Haematoma
* Too much removed fat may result in a sunken appearence
* An asymmetrical result
* Damage to the surrounding muscles and eye surface

Liposuction
Useful for both women and men, Liposuction is a treatment that takes out fatty deposits that surround the stomach, back, thighs, chest, sides, and chin which cannot be removed by diet or exercise. Liposuction should not be mistaken, however, as a shortcut to reducing weight, rather than a way of changing the shape of certain parts of the physique.

Our clinic's experts conduct the surgery by inserting a small tube into the part that needs attention, breaking down the fat and then withdrawing it. To find out more go to our Fat Removal (Liposuction) web page.

Restylane and Perlane
Restylane and Perlane Injections are perfectly safe dermal fillers which smooth wrinkles and folds and shape contours. A skin test is not a requirement which means they are often preferred to collagen injectible fillers.

Court House Clinics use Perlane, which is not removed from animals, for sculpting the cheeks, chin and other facial contours, smoothing intense lines, and for lip augmentation, and there is also Restylane, which gives form with the bodies own natural material, known as hyaluronic acid, which brings about a vital appearance. To find out more visit our Perlane and Restylane Injections page.

Chemical face peels
Chemical Peeling is described by it's own name quite well - a chemical is used to peel off a layer of skin. A chemical face peels strips off a layer of dead skin . This creates softer younger skin, gets rid of tought scaly skin.

There is some evidence that it may reduce the risk of skin cancer. It is safest and most effective on the face. Chemical peels can be on hands but the chances of the procedure leaving scars is slightly higher.If you need more information please visit our glycolic face peels web page.
