Thread Veins Essex
Thread veins, or spider veins, are tiny veins that appear near the surface of the skin. They are most often found on the legs, but can appear on the cheeks and nose as well. Normally these veins are not visible, but if you have had prolonged exposure to the sun, been recently pregnant or undergone estrogen treatment, these veins can become enlarged and visible. They are occasionally be connected to rosacea, chronic redness of the skin, or can result from overuse of topical steroid creams.
In the Essex clinic, there are several options for treatment. The first is injection, called microsclerotherapy, where the veins are injected with microscopic needles and allowed to disperse naturally. Another treatment for facial thread veins is by laser of Intense Pulsed Light treatment.
