Will Soprano work for me?

Select your skin and hair colour above to find out if Soprano is suitable for you

  1. Is it Effective?

Yes, the technology is backed by world wide clinical research studies with proven results. The most effective results have been achieved on fair skin and darker hair however, black and darker skins can also be treated with our advanced Soprano lasers although they cannot be treated with intense pulsed light hair removal. The treatment is also unlikely to work for blonde or grey hair.

  2. How many treatments are needed?

Laser only destroys hairs when they are in the growth phase. At any one moment 20% of hairs are resting or dormant. Repeated sessions will treat these hairs when they re-enter the growth phase. Generally all areas will require at least six to eight treatments. This depends on many factors including your skin and hair type, ethnic background, hormonal balance and skin sensitivity. It is not possible to categorically state how many treatments an individual will need, however this will be discussed at your consultation.

  3. What parts of the body can be treated?

Laser can treat all external areas of the body and face.

  4. What does a treatment involve?

A cool gel is applied to the area to be treated. The laser hand-piece is placed gently against the skin and pulses of intense light are delivered into the hairs. At the time of the treatment some of the hairs are wiped off, however it can take up to two weeks for all the treated hairs to fall out.

  5. What can I expect to pay for treatment?

IIt is recommended that you have a course of treatments and therefore discounted packages will apply. Maintenance prices are also offered at discounted rates. Please telephone our Customer Care Advisors for the cost of the area you wish to have treated.

  6. Does the treatment hurt?

Laser hair removal is virtually pain free. You may feel a slight prickling sensation, particularly if the hair is course and dark. With new technology like Soprano XL the treatment is painless and feels like a warm massage.

Laser Hair Removal for Asian Skin

Soprano XL pain free laser hair removal is safe for all skin types and it can even be used on tanned or darker skins. This is because of its unique “In-Motion™” technology that creates a sweeping motion of the laser that safely and gently heats the targeted area below the skin without the risk of pigmentation and dark patches.

It is this sweeping laser technology that makes the treatment pain free and ideal for sensitive area like the face and bikini line.

At 18 I started having a treatment called IPL (Intense Pulse Light) – but it hurt a lot, and didn’t work. So I then started having my face waxed every six weeks. But when the hairs grew my self esteem plummeted. But, after more than 10 years of waxing I wanted to find a permanent way of getting rid of the hair. Last autumn I went to Court House Clinic to try a new laser treatment I’d read about. I was a bit worried about trying it because my experience of IPL had been so bad – it felt like a burning hot elastic band being pinged against my face and I suffered from dark patches after the treatment. But this new Soprano treatment involved a small hand piece being swept over my cheeks, neck, chin, jaw and upper lip – all the areas where the dark hairs were growing. It didn’t hurt and after three sessions (one a month) the hairs started to drop out of my face, dead, when I exfoliated. My confidence has soared, and, at work as a shop assistant, I no longer feel like hiding my face behind my hand when I deal with customers.Krupali Patel, Age 33 - London

Laser hair removal

Welcome to Court House Clinics. Under the guidance of Dr Patrick Bowler (well known from the television programme “10 years younger”) Court House has grown to offer a huge range of cosmetic and beauty treatments. Whilst these cover everything from high surgery treatments such as a face lift through to cosmetic injections for lines and wrinkles, in recent times laser hair removal has become one of our most popular treatments. Laser hair removal is a great way to deal with the growth of unwanted hair without having to go through the day-to-day ritual of shaving. With so many people coming to us for laser hair removal, we are now in position to offer it at a very competitive price. We also have regular promotions on it as well, for both new and existing hair removal customers.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous but is now accessible to everyone. This is largely due to safer techniques, reduced downtime with shorter scars, and greater awareness due to media exposure. It is also partly down to the larger number of people who have had non-surgical treatments before diving straight into cosmetic surgery.

The most common treatment that is carried out is liposuction (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), otoplasty (ear correction) and blepharoplasty (eyebag or eyelid surgery). These are often carried out in conjunction with treatments such as chin or cheek implants.

The most common surgery carried on women is breast enlargement (augmentation) and then mastopexy (breast uplift) closely followed by breast reduction surgery and face-lifts. However we are also seeing a marked increase for requests for labia and vaginal plastic surgeries.

Arguably the biggest change in recent years is the increase in demand for male cosmetic surgeries, with the most popular treatments being chest reduction, pectoral implant and testicular implants.

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

The demand for non-surgical treatments has grown at an even faster rate than cosmetic surgery. The treatments that are most in demand are laser hair removal and microdermabrasion treatments. These can mimic the effects of surgery or be used in combination with surgical procedures to enhance and prolong results.

For people with problem skin scientific breakthroughs now mean we are able to offer some of the best acne treatments available in combination with most effective anti aging treatments. For example we have invested in some of the latest acne laser treatment and when combined with chemical glycolic skin peels or perlane injections this can create similar effects as a cosmetic face-lift surgery and is very effect treatment for acne scarring.

Some of the non-surgical options provide a real alternative to surgery. A prime example of this is smart Lipo. This laser assisted liposculpture provides fast fat loss where the fat is actually dissolved by the body naturally. For small areas of localised fat this treatment is sometimes better than Liposuction as it is minimally invasive and involves little downtime.

In addition to these treatments we also offer thread vein removal, sculptra, perlane and restylane injections, skin tag removal, mole removal, cyst removal and laser tattoo removal.
