Breast Reduction Yorkshire

Over generous breasts commonly inflict a terrible strain on self-confidence, and can cause distress and pain, especially a bad back. Breast reduction surgery is a treatment that involves the withdrawal of fat and surplus skin thereby resulting in smaller breasts that are in proportion with the rest of your body, thereby increasing your confidence and happiness.

Our clinic’s surgeons perform this treatment with the patient under general anaesthetic. An incision is made around the areola and runs downward whereby it follows the natural contour of the fold under the breast. Once the excess breast tissue, fat and skin are extracted, the skin from both sides of the breast is then pulled down to surround the areola, therefore giving the breasts a natural appearance, which we then suture. The procedure usually lasts about two, to three and a half hours contingent on the bust size and we advise you stay at the clinic for a few days.
