What is vaginoplasty?
Vaginoplasy is where the vaginal canal is tightened. This is also known as vaginal rejuvenation and is particularly common amongst women who have had multiple pregnancies. Vaginal tightening surgery is also performed to help women with incontinence issues.

What is labiaplasty?
Labia surgery is reshaping female genitalia such as the labia minora, or labia majora. Vaginal cosmetic surgery such as labia reduction surgery is usually for cosmetic reasons however there are some medical considerations which may apply also.

Who has vaginal plastic surgery?
If you have some kind of medical problem such as incontinence, then you may find some form of genital surgery is recommended to help fix your situation. However most commonly our clients are women who for one reason or another believe that their genitalia doesn’t look right, or that the sexual pleasure they receive during intercourse can be improved. For many, this is something that keeps them from committing to intimate relationships because they feel embarrassed about how they look. It doesn’t matter that their partner isn’t usually interested in how female genitalia looks, or even how it’s supposed to feel – it’s more about providing the kind of genitalia that makes a woman exude sexuality and not what to keep herself covered up.

What happens after I have the vaginal surgery?
You will probably be allowed home within a day, if not the same day. This depends on the kind of genital surgery you have agreed with one of our experienced cosmetic surgeons is best to create the look that you want to achieve. Before you leave the clinic you will be advised on such things as personal hygiene so that you avoid any infection to the area, you will also be advised on when you may resume active sexual intercourse activity.

If I’m having this done, can I have other cosmetic procedures done at the same time?
This is something you should discuss at your consultation with one of team of cosmetic surgeons. If you have a procedure in mind, then it’s very possible that you could have it scheduled so that you only spend one day at the clinic, but you will need to discuss this fully with your consultant so that you are aware of discomfort levels prior to taking the opportunity to do additional procedures at the time of your vaginal cosmetic surgery.
