Whether you want to get rid of a small problem area or are looking for a major transformation, VASER Lipo can help.  VASER Lipo uses advanced ultrasound technology to gently reshape your body by selectively removing unwanted fatty deposits.  The result?  A smooth shape with minimal discomfort and bruising and fast recovery without the need for hospitalisation thus allowing you to return to work almost right away.

VASER Lipo is a fully FDA approved body contouring system that is extensively used in the USA and endorsed by respected surgeons here in the UK.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Vaser Lipo and Smart Lipo?

Vaser Lipo uses ultra-sound technology whereas SmartLipo® uses laser technology.

How does this differ from surgical liposuction or liposculpture?

The original forms of liposuction (using a manual sucker and “elbow grease”) require a general anaesthetic, hospital stay and considerable bruising and down time. Results are not always consistent and can often leave loose skin.  However, with Vaser Lipo technology assistance fat cells are broken down more accurately and there is less trauma to the surrounding tissue therefore some of the problems associated with surgical procedures, such as lumpiness can be minimized. Further more skin laxity can be prevented as the skin retracts much more; this unique feature of ultrasonic liposelection® is due to the preservation of the fibrous strands and structures around the fat cells which encourages the skin to retract. In the past some patients who may have only been suitable for surgery but could not be treated, can now have this option if expectations are realistic.

Who is suitable? Who benefits most?

Fit an healthy individuals with stubborn local deposits

Who is not suitable?

  • Clinically obese, diffuse fatty deposits
  • On wafarin or aspirin or any anticoagulants
  • Medical conditions such as heart problems, high cholesterol high blood pressure, diabetes, neurological problems.
  • Local scarring
  • Unrealistic expectations
  • Those with much loose skin may need surgery

What areas can be treated?

Our specialist medical practitioner will advise you if you are better suited for Vaser Lipo or for Smartlipo.

What are the advantages of using Vaser Lipo?

  • No hospitalisation or general anaesthesia is required
  • Minimal discomfort and downtime
  • Minimal risk of bleeding & bruising
  • Safe & Effective procedure

How does the treatment work?

The Vaser Lipo system is carried out in a properly equipped theatre and is carried out under local anaesthetic known as tumescent anaesthesia which is used to numb the area to be treated; it is injected into the fat with a special technique and a small probe is then inserted to deliver low level ultrasonic vibrations to targeted fatty deposits & regions. An average procedure takes under an hour. Afterwards suction is used to remove the fat which has been liquidized or broken down into tiny fragments. This suction is a more passive process to conventional liposuction as the ultrasound technology has performed the hard work needed and also removed by purpose-designed aspiration via a cannula.  Any remaining emulsified fatty tissue gets naturally excreted by the body.

How long does it take?

You should set aside the whole day for this procedure to take into account travelling time. However the actual procedure for a single area is about 1 hour

Do I have to wear a support garment following this procedure?

Yes.  You will be required to wear a garment for 2- 4 weeks. Usually the longer the better.

What aftercare is required?

  • Anti-biotic cover post treatment is required
  • Paracetomol for painkillers is usually sufficient
  • Minimal or no vigorous exercise for 2 weeks
  • You will be seen 2 weeks post treatment for a check-up.

Is this treatment suitable for men?

Yes. Vaser Lipo can be used on men. The most frequently targeted areas for men are the stomach and breasts.

How long does it take to see the results of the treatment?

Immediate results can be seen although the final result is not visible until 3 – 6 months post treatment. Realistic expectations to treatment will be discussed during your initial consultation.

What can I expect to pay for this procedure?

Laser assisted techniques have been round for about 8 years and are good at a target area .Certain areas respond well such as knees, inner thighs, the chin and some lower abdomen in the female.

Laser hair removal

Welcome to Court House Clinics. Under the guidance of Dr Patrick Bowler (well known from the television programme “10 years younger”) Court House has grown to offer a huge range of cosmetic and beauty treatments. Whilst these cover everything from high surgery treatments such as a face lift through to cosmetic injections for lines and wrinkles, in recent times laser hair removal has become one of our most popular treatments. Laser hair removal is a great way to deal with the growth of unwanted hair without having to go through the day-to-day ritual of shaving. With so many people coming to us for laser hair removal, we are now in position to offer it at a very competitive price. We also have regular promotions on it as well, for both new and existing hair removal customers.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous but is now accessible to everyone. This is largely due to safer techniques, reduced downtime with shorter scars, and greater awareness due to media exposure. It is also partly down to the larger number of people who have had non-surgical treatments before diving straight into cosmetic surgery.

The most common treatment that is carried out is liposuction (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), otoplasty (ear correction) and blepharoplasty (eyebag or eyelid surgery). These are often carried out in conjunction with treatments such as chin or cheek implants.

The most common surgery carried on women is breast enlargement (augmentation) and then mastopexy (breast uplift) closely followed by breast reduction surgery and face-lifts. However we are also seeing a marked increase for requests for labia and vaginal plastic surgeries.

Arguably the biggest change in recent years is the increase in demand for male cosmetic surgeries, with the most popular treatments being chest reduction, pectoral implant and testicular implants.

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

The demand for non-surgical treatments has grown at an even faster rate than cosmetic surgery. The treatments that are most in demand are laser hair removal and microdermabrasion treatments. These can mimic the effects of surgery or be used in combination with surgical procedures to enhance and prolong results.

For people with problem skin scientific breakthroughs now mean we are able to offer some of the best acne treatments available in combination with most effective anti aging treatments. For example we have invested in some of the latest acne laser treatment and when combined with chemical glycolic skin peels or perlane injections this can create similar effects as a cosmetic face-lift surgery and is very effect treatment for acne scarring.

Some of the non-surgical options provide a real alternative to surgery. A prime example of this is smart Lipo. This laser assisted liposculpture provides fast fat loss where the fat is actually dissolved by the body naturally. For small areas of localised fat this treatment is sometimes better than Liposuction as it is minimally invasive and involves little downtime.

In addition to these treatments we also offer thread vein removal, sculptra, perlane and restylane injections, skin tag removal, mole removal, cyst removal and laser tattoo removal.
