Will the wrinkles return?

Yes. A brow lift cannot stop the aging process but your surgeon will explain all such expectations during your initial consultation so that you understand completely what can be achieved by the procedure.

Will I need to take time off work?

Yes, usually 5-7 days is required off work. Surgery can be performed as a day case or overnight stay depending on the surgeon and whether combined surgery is being undergone. The length of surgery whether under local or general anaesthesia will be approximately 2 hours.

Will there be scarring with a Brow Lift?

Any post operative scarring will be minimal and will be well hidden within the hair line. This will fade over time and then it will be virtually invisible

How is the procedure performed?

Brow lift surgery involves an incision being made into your skin and then the particular muscles and tissue there under will be lifted to give the required effect. The small incisions that are made as part of an endoscopic brow lift are so tiny that there will be minimal scarring. If you have decided to have a coronal procedure then the cut will be larger but it will be hidden in your hair line and virtually invisible.
