Minor surgery

Minor surgery refers to surgical procedures that do not require a general anaesthetic and many conditions can be treated quickly and easily in clinic. Such procedures include the removal of suspicious moles or other skin lesions, skin tags or warts.
Most procedures are performed under local anaesthetic so as to ensure the procedure is painless. Techniques may involve cutting, scraping (curetting), or freezing and sutures (stitches) may also be required.
Our dermatology experts will fully explain any minor surgical operation that is necessary and will only proceed with your consent.
