Ear surgery is one of the oldest cosmetic surgery methods, and is a surgical procedure that involves the adjustment in shape of pronounced ears. Although it is generally performed on children between four to fourteen years of age, an Otoplasty is actually appropriate for both women and men of all ages, and can therefore enhance a patient’s self-esteem.

Otoplasty surgery normally takes around 2-3 hours from start to finish. During the procedure, once local anaesthetic is administered, our skilled surgeon will make a cleverly concealed incision behind the ear. Using a combination of taking away superflous skin, and reshaping cartilage to alter structure, our clinic’s surgeon will mould the ear into a more aesthetic form, so drawing it back in to harmony with the whole of the head. As the incision is made in the crease behind the ear, patients will see that the resulting scarring is hardly noticable.
