Q Do I require an initial consultation?
A Yes, you will be required to see a medical aesthetician for an initial consultation who will assess your skin condition and recommend the most suitable treatment to achieve optimum results. You will also be provided with your own skin care regime to follow at home to ensure optimum results.

Q How do these treatments work?
A Both of these treatments are performed by an experienced medical aesthetician and both usually last approximately 75 minutes.

Revive Treatment: Consists of Omnilux revive™ red light therapy combined with an enzyme peel. All products used are from Dr. Patrick Bowler’s specially formulated Vitage anti-oxidant skin care range for ageing, sun damaged or tired skins. Treatment also includes a face, hand and arm massage.

Renew Treatment: A visibly skin boosting combination of Diamondtome™ micro skin resurfacing and Omnilux revive™ red light therapy which helps to energise and smooth the skin. Treatment includes a hand and arm massage.

Q Are these treatments painful?
A Both the CFT® Revive and Renew treatments are safe, pain free and non-invasive and there is no recovery time. Even during the CFT® Renew treatment, micro skin resurfacing is performed using the Diamondtome™ system which is painless yet effective. The degree of effectiveness is controlled by a widely adjustable vacuum in conjunction with varying coarseness of the DiamondTome™ wands.

Q Are there any possible side effects?
A Revive Treatment: There have been no reported side effects from the Omnilux revive™ red light therapy. The scientifically designed light source does not contain harmful UVA or UVB rays and therefore cannot damage your skin. You will experience a feeling of relaxation and well-being during and after the treatment.

Renew Treatment: Immediately following micro skin resurfacing your skin may look slightly flushed, but for most people skin should return to normal within 30 minutes. Obviously when combined with Omnilux revive™ red light therapy however, skin will usually return to normal by the end of the treatment. Occasionally following treatment however, the skin may feel warm to the touch and be slightly “tingly” for up to 24 hours.

Q How long do the results last?
A You can expect to see an overall improvement in tone, clarity and skin smoothness however we would suggest regular maintenance visits to maintain results.
