Unlike replacement fillers that temporarily fill and plump out lines and wrinkles, Sculptra™ stimulates our own collagen, rebuilding the skin’s support structure.   Sculptra’s, volumising effect  restores lost facial volume, the overall effect of which is a more youthful appearance with gradual, natural looking results.  Generally, a course of treatments is usually required to obtain the required results. However, in contrast to replacement filllers which require regular refresher sessions, after the end of your Scupltra™ programme the results will last up to 2 years.

This treatment is ideal for treating:

  • Deep folds between the nose and the mouth (nasolabial folds)
  • Folds around the corners of the mouth (marionette lines)
  • Sunken cheeks
  • Wrinkling in the cheeks or chin
  • Deep scars

Prices from £400.  Course prices available for 3 or 5 vials of Sculptra with FREE homecare products included.  Please refer to the Combination Treatments section of our website for more information.

ANNA RYDER RICHARDSON TO SCULPT A NEW LOOK

TV favourite Anna Ryder Richardson is taking a break from changing rooms for a bit of a makeover on herself.

The on-screen interior designer is undergoing a series of Sculptra® non-surgical cosmetic treatments, to help naturally reduce the signs of ageing and replenish her youthful glow.

Being on screen has made Anna, aged 45, more aware of the effects of ageing on her skin and she wanted a natural way to help refresh her looks.

Although she has always maintained a good skin care routine, Anna admits that she is a bit of a sun worshipper, which has had damaging effects to her skin over the years. She decided to try Sculptra® as she wanted a natural, more youthful look.

“I never used to worry about ageing, until the last year or so, when I have caught the occasional reflection of me looking tired, with funny jowls at the top of my jaw,” said mum-of-two Anna.

“I actually want a more natural look and something that also lasts longer. If friends and family who haven’t seen me for a while say to me, ‘you look well, healthy, fresh’, that will mean Sculptra® has been really successful for me.”

Sculptra® is a collagen stimulator that works to build up the body’s own natural collagen to help gradually smooth lines and wrinkles and restore facial volume, giving a fuller, younger-looking complexion. Results typically occur around six weeks after treatment and, depending on the individual, two to three treatments are usually required for full results which can last up to two years following your last treatment.

The high-profile Changing Rooms presenter featured as a contestant on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2007 and more recently in her own documentary on Channel 4, Chaos at the Zoo.

Frequently asked questions

How does Sculptra work?

The injected volume of solution immediately fills out the wrinkles and volume defects. Within a few days the water in Sculptra™ is absorbed by the body with a slight increase in wrinkle depth again. The second phase consists of a natural, soft build up of the connective tissue smoothing out wrinkles and contour defects. After approximately 6 weeks clear improvement can be seen although to see optimum results a course of treatment is recommended, the final result of which can be seen within approximately 10 months post treatment.

Why choose Sculptra?

Sculptra is a discrete approach which allows a gradual natural effect to occur 2 or 3 treatments are required. Clinical studies have shown that the results of Sculptra can last for more than 3 years. It is well tolerated with over 17,000 treatments in the UK since 2005. No allergy testing is required before treatment

Are there any side effects?

The most common short-lived side effect include some bleeding, tenderness or mild pain, redness, bruising or swelling at the site of injection.

How long do the results last?

In contrast to some other treatments which require regular refresher sessions, after the end of your Scupltra™ programme the results will last up to 2 years.

How much can I expect to pay for this treatment?

Prices for single vials of treatment are £400, however we recommend a course of between 3 - 5 treatments and we offer discounted packages with complimentary anti-ageing products for optimum results.

Laser hair removal

Welcome to Court House Clinics. Under the guidance of Dr Patrick Bowler (well known from the television programme “10 years younger”) Court House has grown to offer a huge range of cosmetic and beauty treatments. Whilst these cover everything from high surgery treatments such as a face lift through to cosmetic injections for lines and wrinkles, in recent times laser hair removal has become one of our most popular treatments. Laser hair removal is a great way to deal with the growth of unwanted hair without having to go through the day-to-day ritual of shaving. With so many people coming to us for laser hair removal, we are now in position to offer it at a very competitive price. We also have regular promotions on it as well, for both new and existing hair removal customers.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous but is now accessible to everyone. This is largely due to safer techniques, reduced downtime with shorter scars, and greater awareness due to media exposure. It is also partly down to the larger number of people who have had non-surgical treatments before diving straight into cosmetic surgery.

The most common treatment that is carried out is liposuction (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), otoplasty (ear correction) and blepharoplasty (eyebag or eyelid surgery). These are often carried out in conjunction with treatments such as chin or cheek implants.

The most common surgery carried on women is breast enlargement (augmentation) and then mastopexy (breast uplift) closely followed by breast reduction surgery and face-lifts. However we are also seeing a marked increase for requests for labia and vaginal plastic surgeries.

Arguably the biggest change in recent years is the increase in demand for male cosmetic surgeries, with the most popular treatments being chest reduction, pectoral implant and testicular implants.

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

The demand for non-surgical treatments has grown at an even faster rate than cosmetic surgery. The treatments that are most in demand are laser hair removal and microdermabrasion treatments. These can mimic the effects of surgery or be used in combination with surgical procedures to enhance and prolong results.

For people with problem skin scientific breakthroughs now mean we are able to offer some of the best acne treatments available in combination with most effective anti aging treatments. For example we have invested in some of the latest acne laser treatment and when combined with chemical glycolic skin peels or perlane injections this can create similar effects as a cosmetic face-lift surgery and is very effect treatment for acne scarring.

Some of the non-surgical options provide a real alternative to surgery. A prime example of this is smart Lipo. This laser assisted liposculpture provides fast fat loss where the fat is actually dissolved by the body naturally. For small areas of localised fat this treatment is sometimes better than Liposuction as it is minimally invasive and involves little downtime.

In addition to these treatments we also offer thread vein removal, sculptra, perlane and restylane injections, skin tag removal, mole removal, cyst removal and laser tattoo removal.
