Breast augmentation is the most common cosmetic procedure in the UK. Commonly referred to as a breast enlargement, this procedure helps women who have a naturally small bust or have noticed a change in their bust size due to weight loss or pregnancy. The majority of our clients are looking for a natural result rather than wanting an unnaturally large enhancement.

Our surgeons can achieve this rejuvenation with round implants that produce a natural looking breast shape in the majority of women undergoing breast enlargement. However, for other women who are very slim and have little no breast fat to cover the implant, a tear-drop shaped implant can provide a more natural shape and softer feel. Whatever shape you decide upon, you can rest assured that Court House Clinics do not use cheap implants or compromise on standards.

Our surgeons are trained in the latest implant techniques and technology to provide the most safe and natural results. A consultation with one of our surgeons will ensure you choose the right implant and size to suit your shape and our dedicated cosmetic surgery advisors will provide you with care and support all the way through your treatment.

Having larger, better shaped breasts can boost your self-confidence and at Court House Clinics we understand that choice and control over your treatment creates a positive experience and a feeling of well being.

Frequently asked questions

Who will benefit from a breast enlargement?

Women who have either always had small breasts or who have lost breast tissue (volume) due to weight loss or pregnancy.

What size can my breasts be increased to?

The surgeon will attempt to increase your bust size by at least two sizes, for example from A to C cup size however, you can only be made as large as medically possible. During your consultation the surgeon will be able to assess, approximately the cup size that you will increase to afterwards along with the type of implant used (shape and material).

Will my breasts look and feel natural?

Yes, once the breasts have settled. During the first few weeks following your operation your breasts will feel very firm, swollen and pert.

Will I need to take time off work?

Yes, normally 7 -10 days is required off work unless your job involves any lifting or carrying, then you may be advised to take more time off. In this case the surgeon can supply you with a medical certificate for your employer. Q: Will my breasts be painful afterwards? Previous patients say they experience more discomfort than actual pain, though you can expect to feel sore and tender afterwards, and you will experience a certain amount of post-operative bruising and swelling over the area(s) treated.

Can I speak to someone that has had the same operation?

Yes, not only has CHC staff had various cosmetic surgery procedures, but also we have many patients who are happy to talk to you about their own experiences.

Can I breast feed after having breast implants?

A lot of women ask if they can breast feed after Breast Augmentation Surgery. The answer is a resounding yes. For the vast majority of women who have a BA breastfeeding is no more difficult with implants than without. In fact, some women who have breast fed with and without implants say that breastfeeding with implants is easier.

Where should the implants be placed?

Implants can be positioned either under or on top of the chest muscles (or 'pecs'). In each case they'll be below and behind the breast tissue, avoiding problems with breast-feeding. There are pros and cons for each position and your surgeon will be able to advise which choice will suit you best.

What texture should be chosen for the implant covering?

The implant covering can be smooth or slightly textured - similar to velvet. Again, the choice is entirely yours.

What size should implants be?

This depends on the present size of your breasts and how much larger you would like them to be. Surgeons have various ways to show what can be achieved with different sized implants and 'before and after' photographs of previous patients can be particularly helpful.

Where should the incision be?

The alternatives are the fold underneath the breast, the area around the nipple, under the arm or through the navel. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, partly depending on the type of filling you prefer and the size of the implant. Scars from implants generally heal well and become barely visible.

What about the shape and style of implant?

Most implants are available with either a round or tear drop shape. Your choice will depend on the existing shape of your breasts and the new effect you want to achieve.

Does implant surgery carry any risks?

Although there are general risks associated with any type of surgery, complications with breast implant surgery are rare. It's wise though, to be aware of the possible problems that can occur, such as: leakage, implant infection, capsular contraction or sensation changes. Your surgeon will be happy to talk you through any of these in greater detail.

Can I talk to people who have already had the treatment I am considering?

Certainly, and we'll be more than happy to arrange this for you.

What can I expect to pay for this procedure?

Standard round implants prices from £3,950 - £4,095 (regional variations apply), Tear Drop implants £4,495.  Please note: a non-surgical treatment and product package is included to assist with healing and ensure optimum results.

Reasons for Breast Augmentation

  • Boost Confidence
  • Very aware of uneven breast size which originally was AA on right side and left side was not even enough to fill cup size. Different implant sizes were used to correct asymmetric shape.

Both breasts are now C/D cup.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I feel that I wasted three years contemplating getting BA and in hindsight I wish that I hadn’t wasted all this time.

Initially I undertook huge amounts of research on the internet. From my initial consultation with Helen Chapman, Clinic Manager at Maidenhead right up until my surgical procedure with surgeon Hicham Mouellem, I felt emotionally supported and was provided with all the necessary information to reduce any anxieties I may have had.

I felt CHC gave me the understanding and confidence to move forward from initial enquiry to actually going ahead with procedure. It felt like I was accompanied for the full entirety of my journey, including one on one consultations and full support at all times. When I approached other Cosmetic Surgery companies I was sent lots of information leaflets but never had face to face support. It was refreshing to be treated as an individual and not just another operation in this fast growing production line.

I am very happy with results as breasts are now same size and shape. Clothes shopping is now much more enjoyable and especially get great pleasure in lingerie shopping!!

Recently went on holiday, and was delighted to finally show off my new assets!!

If any of my friends were contemplating cosmetic surgery of any sort I would highly recommend Court House Clinics.

Many thanks,

Laser hair removal

Welcome to Court House Clinics. Under the guidance of Dr Patrick Bowler (well known from the television programme “10 years younger”) Court House has grown to offer a huge range of cosmetic and beauty treatments. Whilst these cover everything from high surgery treatments such as a face lift through to cosmetic injections for lines and wrinkles, in recent times laser hair removal has become one of our most popular treatments. Laser hair removal is a great way to deal with the growth of unwanted hair without having to go through the day-to-day ritual of shaving. With so many people coming to us for laser hair removal, we are now in position to offer it at a very competitive price. We also have regular promotions on it as well, for both new and existing hair removal customers.

Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous but is now accessible to everyone. This is largely due to safer techniques, reduced downtime with shorter scars, and greater awareness due to media exposure. It is also partly down to the larger number of people who have had non-surgical treatments before diving straight into cosmetic surgery.

The most common treatment that is carried out is liposuction (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), otoplasty (ear correction) and blepharoplasty (eyebag or eyelid surgery). These are often carried out in conjunction with treatments such as chin or cheek implants.

The most common surgery carried on women is breast enlargement (augmentation) and then mastopexy (breast uplift) closely followed by breast reduction surgery and face-lifts. However we are also seeing a marked increase for requests for labia and vaginal plastic surgeries.

Arguably the biggest change in recent years is the increase in demand for male cosmetic surgeries, with the most popular treatments being chest reduction, pectoral implant and testicular implants.

Non-Surgical Cosmetic Treatments

The demand for non-surgical treatments has grown at an even faster rate than cosmetic surgery. The treatments that are most in demand are laser hair removal and microdermabrasion treatments. These can mimic the effects of surgery or be used in combination with surgical procedures to enhance and prolong results.

For people with problem skin scientific breakthroughs now mean we are able to offer some of the best acne treatments available in combination with most effective anti aging treatments. For example we have invested in some of the latest acne laser treatment and when combined with chemical glycolic skin peels or perlane injections this can create similar effects as a cosmetic face-lift surgery and is very effect treatment for acne scarring.

Some of the non-surgical options provide a real alternative to surgery. A prime example of this is smart Lipo. This laser assisted liposculpture provides fast fat loss where the fat is actually dissolved by the body naturally. For small areas of localised fat this treatment is sometimes better than Liposuction as it is minimally invasive and involves little downtime.

In addition to these treatments we also offer thread vein removal, sculptra, perlane and restylane injections, skin tag removal, mole removal, cyst removal and laser tattoo removal.
