At Courthouse Clinics only our qualified and experienced doctors provide our popular Anti Wrinkle Injections® treatments to treat a variety of conditions. This is to ensure that all of our patients achieve natural-looking results that complement them as an individual, taking into consideration numerous factors such as bone structure and patient expectations.
Anti Wrinkle Injections® is an injectable anti-ageing treatment used to smooth out wrinkles on the brow, soften crow’s feet and frown lines and smooth out bobbly chins and necks. It’s not expensive, is hugely common, and it can be done in your lunch hour.
If it’s your first treatment we offer a free of charge consultation; if you decide to proceed with your Anti Wrinkle Injections treatment your doctor will give you the minimum amount and you then return a fortnight later for a review. Courthouse Clinics will offer a complementary top-up, since the amount of injections required varies between patients. This volume will then be recorded and kept on your patient file so we can ensure your next treatment in 3-6 months will be spot on.
The Anti Wrinkle Injections injections don’t work on the shallower, finer lines that gather in the crescent shape under the eye. For this, we have other options to treat these specific conditions:

Reject the ‘frozen face’ at Courthouse Clinics, London
On your first visit to the clinic, you'll have a one-to-one consultation with your doctor to discuss your condition and the best medical procedure for you.
At this meeting, we will discuss the conditions you would like to address and the detailed 'before' photos so you can visually document the change after the treatment.
Then we’ll make you comfortable in one of our treatment rooms and make sure you’re happy to proceed. If desired, we can use a numbing cream beforehand; however this will require extra treatment time in order for it to take effect.
Your doctor will cleanse your skin and then administer the Anti Wrinkle Injections injections and we will give you aftercare advice and recommend a time-scale for your follow-up treatment(s)
Please be aware that while the actual injections themselves can take as little as 10 minutes, the entire appointment could well take a lot longer, especially if it is your first time having a Anti Wrinkle Injections treatment.
The effects of Anti Wrinkle Injections aren’t always instant. Often you might not see or feel any changes until 3-5 days after treatment.
Individual results vary, but in general the effects last 3-6 months.
Samantha, LondonI've always been conscious of lines developing on my forehead since I was about 22 and wanted to prevent them from deepening further. I heard from a friend of mine who is the same age as me that she had started having Anti Wrinkle Injections and had great results from it, so I thought I'd give it a go for myself.
The treatment didn't hurt at all and was over before I knew it. The doctor made me feel very comfortable and acknowledged my concerns and treated them in the appropriate way. I'll never look back now, I'm so chuffed!
Amazing! Meriem Martins has worked her magic on me and I'm Thrilled! with the results! She really is a Superstar at what she does.

Areas treated by Anti Wrinkle Injections
Anti Wrinkle Injections® is an injectable treatment that temporarily blocks signals between nerves and muscles. When inserted in minute amounts into the skin it smooths and firms wrinkles and delays further fine lines from forming. It has been proven highly successful as an anti-ageing treatment but can also be used to improve symptoms of excessive sweating and migraines.
Courthouse Clinics’ Anti Wrinkle Injections® courses are only ever provided by our qualified and experienced medical doctors. We believe this is the only way for our patients to experience the best possible results.
We offer Anti Wrinkle Injections® treatments at Courthouse Clinics. For more information please contact the clinic on 0207 467 3809.
We typically advise patients to avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after their clinic visit. We also recommend that you avoid activities that involve inversions (where your head is lower than your heart), for example, yoga classes or Pilates. This helps to avoid Anti Wrinkle Injections migration into other areas of the skin. You’re also more likely to touch or rub your face, which isn’t recommended, especially if you sweat a lot during exercise. Lastly, vigorous exercise can cause the Anti Wrinkle Injections injection to be metabolised before it’s fully diffused, making it less effective.
The treatment involve minimal discomfort, so it’s likely you won’t need any form of pain relief afterwards. However, if you do feel the need for painkillers, avoid anti-inflammatory medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen, as these thin the blood, which in turn can increase the possibility of bruising. Paracetamol is the best option.
Alcohol can thin the blood and increase fluid retention – both of which can exacerbate the prospect of post-treatment bruising. To be on the safe side, we recommend abstaining from alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after treatment.
Many people ask how soon they can fly after having Anti Wrinkle Injections. There is no hard evidence which proves that high altitude or pressurisation adversely affects the treatment, but it may be worth avoiding any long haul travel for 24 hours. To make sure, we suggest keeping yourself comfortable and hydrated.
Serious allergic reactions are rare. However, if you experience intense itching, swelling, a skin rashes, dizziness or breathing difficulties, please seek medical help immediately. It is possible for injection sites to become infected, so make sure you choose a reputable clinic that uses qualified, experienced, skilled injectors.
