An academic journal reports today on some of the secrets behind the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine today, suggesting that bread, beer and botox are the key forces behind the award to James Rothman, Randy Schekman, and Thomas Südhof for their discoveries of machinery regulating vesicle traffic, a major transport system in our cells.
