With Surgeons Dan Marsh & Mo Akhavani
At Courthouse Clinics, we understand that cosmetic surgery is a very important and personal choice. That’s why our resident Consultant Cosmetic Surgeons, Dan Marsh and Mo Akhavani, work with us to provide a personalised service that you can depend on and trust.
Personal contact with our resident surgeons
We do not use glamorous girls or before and after pictures to sell cosmetic surgery to you. Our approach to cosmetic surgery is different from other providers in that from your very first consultation and throughout your patient journey, you are always seen by your surgeon, not a patient coordinator. We offer an individually tailored experience provided by, and only by, our surgeons.
No hospital stay, faster recovery times
Our surgeons are among the few in the UK who carry out the majority of surgeries under sedation and local anaesthetic – which means faster recovery, minimal downtime and reduced post-operative swelling and bruising. Using new techniques for breast augmentation, our surgeons can ensure shorter scars that will fade away to nothing within a year.

Dan Marsh is an award-winning Harley Street plastic and cosmetic surgeon. He is also a surgeon at The Royal Free NHS hospital where he has set up London’s only ‘Breast Reconstruction Awareness Group’, one of only four in the UK for women considering or awaiting surgery to meet and talk to others who have been through the procedure.
His work involves the latest developments in surgery, techniques, equipment and materials to ensure his patients have the most comfortable experience and enjoy the very best results. He is a leader in the use of local anaesthetics for surgery, which minimises incisions and scarring and reduces recovery time.
While he is a specialist in all types of cosmetic surgery, Dan has a special focus on breast and facial aesthetics. He was a pioneer of the “Invisible Boob Job” breast augmentation, carried out through a tiny incision in the breast crease and closed with an invisible suture.
Dan has a PhD from University College London, has more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, regularly presents his work at international plastic surgery meetings and has been awarded several prizes, including the prestigious Hackett Prize from the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons.
He is on the General Medical Council specialist register for Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
