FemiLift Vaginal Tightening
FemiLift is a non-surgical vaginal tightening treatment. This effectively restructures and restores damaged tissue with no pain, anaesthetic, or numbing cream. Performed by a gynaecologist, the treatment ensures safety, optimal results, and high patient satisfaction.* Our FemiLift specialist is Dr Kasia Brennan.
FemiLift restores collagen to the tissue of the vagina, plumping it up so that the walls expand and make the vaginal canal smaller. This can lead to greater comfort and sensation with many patients reporting surprising benefits after the procedure, from improved sexual experience to increased control over urinary incontinence.
FemiLift is designed to make the vaginal canal smaller, but some patients have found that after vaginal tightening the effects of urinary incontinence are lessened, too.

What will happen at my appointment?
A gynaecologist or specialist surgeon will conduct your appointment. After a short examination to test for vaginal trauma or scarring, an ergonomically designed vaginal probe is used to deliver the laser treatment. The technology allows the consultant to have complete control over the intensity and movement of the laser, meaning treatment is quick and precise.
Is it safe?
FemiLift is completely safe and recommended by hundreds of women. Invasive corrective surgery can be traumatic, and risks infection, injury or operation failure, while over-the-counter options such as topical creams or herbal remedies can be ineffective, with only superficial short-term effects. FemiLift has an excellent patient satisfaction record with long-lasting successful results.
How long does it take?
The whole appointment will take less than half an hour. You’ll get a full gynaecological exam before the treatment commences to make sure you’re a suitable FemiLift candidate.
What will it feel like?
FemiLift is a cylindrical rod a few centimetres in diameter. Through a speculum your consultant will gently insert this into the vagina. It feels no different to any other gynaecological procedure. The actual laser is painless. Patients report feeling a slight tingle of warmth, but the whole procedure is designed to be as comfortable as possible..
How long will the results last?
Up to five treatments can be needed to build collagen for long-lasting results, carried out at intervals of 2-4 weeks.
How long will it be before I can have sex after my treatment?
After you’ve had your treatment you’ll need to wait 5-7 days before you engage in any kind of sexual activity, to make sure your tissue has recovered. We also recommend that you avoid using tampons in this time, too. After a week or so, you’ll be absolutely fine to resume your normal sexual activities.
Video length – 1:54 minutes
After two babies I suffered with vaginal incontinence especially when I laughed or exercised. I booked in for a session, had a gynaecological examination and then decided to go through with treatment. It didn’t hurt at all. The gynaecologist was very professional, and talked me through every step of the process. It was like a warm little breeze as he treated me, and he asked constantly how I felt. I was so well looked after.
I’ve only had one treatment, just to see how I go for now.
